STYLE NOTES

HIGHLY COVETED STYLE

Carolyn Bessette-Kennedy's minimal understated style continues to garner admiration even a quarter-century after her untimely passing.

Timeless and understated, her looks are as relevant today as they were in the 1990's, her style remains highly coveted.

MINIMAL BLACK

She was a big fan of an immaculate, all black ensemble - a bias-cut long skirt & blouse or a simple slip & coat.

THE CLASSICS

Always leaning into wardrobe staples and creating different looks with few pieces, she was a master in styling.

CONFIDENT STYLE

She always chose to wear really simple, minimalist clothes, reflective of the time - the 1990's - when she was thrust into the spotlight... but she always had something more, a graceful ease and self-confidence that was admired globally.

THE DETAILS

Everything was pared-back, considered - the way a shirt was wrapped & tucked, a simple bag, her wedding ring, her only piece of jewellery, her signature off-duty headband and sunglasses.

BEAUTY

Her go-to beauty looks of glossy, loose hair or a low bun and a natural glow or a bold red lip are as simple and timeless as her wardrobe.

BRIDAL CHIC

And of course, the unforgettable ivory slip dress she wore to marry JFK Jnr.  It was so true to her minimal style and a true lesson in elegance.

Her hair and make-up, pulled from her beauty playbook, staying true to her style for the big day.
